This page explains how Eau Claire Home Services builds and maintains its lists.
How we rank
Featured category pages name one top pick. The pick is selected using publicly available information: Google Business Profile ratings and review counts, Better Business Bureau ratings, the range of services each company advertises, and the size of its stated service area. The remaining businesses on a category page are listed alphabetically for reference and are not ranked. Directory category pages name no pick at all: every business is listed alphabetically. We do not make quality claims about businesses in the alphabetical list.
Where the data comes from
Business names, ratings, review counts, and phone numbers come from public Google Business Profiles. Better Business Bureau ratings are cited where a business has a public BBB profile; not every listed business has one. Category pages also show aggregate figures (average rating, median review count) compiled from the same public data, and each page states the date the data was last checked.
How often data updates
Listings are rechecked on a recurring schedule. The date of the most recent update appears at the top of every category page. Ratings and review counts shown reflect the public data as of that date.
How businesses get listed, corrected, or removed
Businesses are added when they appear in public sources for a category we cover. Inclusion is free; no business pays to appear here. No list is exhaustive, and other qualified businesses may serve the area. If you own a listed business and want your information corrected, or want your business removed from a list, reach out via the contact page and we will handle the request.

Being listed on this site is always free. Eau Claire Home Services may have commercial relationships, including advertising or lead generation arrangements, with businesses that are featured or named as top picks.
